The Celtic Bagpipe uses the same chanter (“Grall”) and blow pipe than the “Sac de Gemecs” and its only drone is the bass drone from the Sac deb gemecs (in DO), carried over the left shoulder in same mode like the Celtics did. It offers one pipe (in DO3), a chanter, a blow pipe, a modern valve SANS and an interchangaeble mouthpiece (3 sizes available). The traditional chanter design is a forwarded model from the North of Catalunya. Its tuning is DO5. In addition can be mounted to the drone a switch for DO3 / RE3, using a traditional wooden plug or by including the automatic system, which is a developed patent of SANS LUTHIER.
