The Katho Percussion Ébano flamenco cajón has been with us since our beginnings and has become one of our most classic and best-selling cajóns. Thanks to its striking front panel and reinforced rear sound hole, the Ébano cajón offers a very balanced sound, with bright, defined highs and dry, deep low-end tones.

Body:

Made with high-quality shadow plane plywood (Platanus Hispanica), 10.5 mm thick. This wood provides better tone and body than traditional birch and features a grain similar to birch, but with a warmer hue.

Sourced from Spanish plantations with designation of origin.

The rear panel is reinforced up to 18 mm to enhance the bass response. Assembly and gluing are done using tongue and groove joints, ensuring a robust structure that resists deformation.

Equipped with anti-slip silicone feet. Finished with multiple layers of satin clear varnish.

Soundboard (Front Panel):

Front panel made of birch plywood with decorative pre-composed veneer, calibrated to 3.6 mm and finished with several layers of clear varnish. Fully handcrafted.

Design:

Ergonomic shape on the upper front corners for greater playing comfort. Katho Percussion logo printed using screen printing.
